LOCAL PET TAXI SERVICE

• Full service veterinarian appointment assistance in which we represent the family pet on behalf of the owner and work directly with the veterinarian during the appointment.  Only pre-arranged services are performed unless authorized by the owner. 
• Pick-up and delivery to the veterinarian, doggie daycare, or groomer
• Transportation to and from O'Hare airport including instances of flight delays and cancellations. 
• Any other pet transportation needs on a case-by-case basis

REGIONAL GROUND TRANSPORTATION

Most people become acutely aware of the several limitations on airline travel to their pets' destinations due to routing through smaller airports throughout the country.  This is especially true in the Midwest as O'Hare is the nearest serviceable airport for most pet travel by air. 

As a result:

• Midwest Pet Express specializes in providing regional ground transportation to and from O'Hare International airport in our customized (temperature controlled and ventilated) van throughout Illinois and neighboring states such as Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.
• Your pet family members stay safe and comfortable by traveling within the same travel kennels that are used during airline travel.

• Ground transportation for your pets to longer distance locations outside of the Midwest for families not comfortable with airline transportation, locations not serviceable by the airlines, or pets with high anxiety issues.
• Executive ground transports originate and terminate in Chicago; however, do not have to include Chicago (i.e. Michigan to New York).
•  Frequent stops along the way for water, walks, fun, and treats!

DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL AIR TRAVEL SERVICES  

• Planning and coordination of all logistics required with a domestic or international pet relocation.
• Provide and assist with all the necessary documentation required for travel.
• Provide or assist with the USDA/APHIS endorsement of travel documentation & arrange for crate sealing when required by the country of destination.
• Arrange for boarding services required before or after your pet’s travel to coordinate with your travel plans.
• Research and coordinate the optimal airline routing to ensure the least amount of travel time to provide the greatest amount of safety and comfort for your family pet’s journey.
• Ensure the proper booking, preparation, and purchase of airline travel documentation for your family pet’s relocation.
• Provide or assist with the purchase of a proper airline travel kennel specifically for your pet that is approved for both domestic and international travel.
• Provide or assist with the proper preparation of travel kennels to ensure your family pet meets all required regulatory and airline standards for the safe and humane transport to destination.
• Provide duplicate, personal travel documentation on travel kennels to ensure airline accuracy to connections and final destination.
• Check-in or pick-up of your family pet from airline cargo facilities.
• Door-to-door delivery on front-end and back-end of your pet family member’s trip.
• Flight tracking to ensure safe arrival to connections and destination.
• Provide assistance and alternative travel options in the event of weather restrictions, flight delays or cancellations.
